My oldest son recently penned an essay and review for one of his long awaited video games. To say he was excited about the release of this game was an understatement, and as you will see his excitement translated to his review of the game. God of War Ragnarok – An Epic Game Review
The seemingly tranquil lives of a father and son dwelling in a quaint woodland log cabin would unexpectedly evolve into the journey of a lifetime. God of War, released in the spring of 2018, swiftly took the world by surprise, and players immediately fell in love. Many were naturally shocked by the legendary PlayStation icon’s return because it has never failed to amaze before, and it undoubtedly did not fail this time.
God of War takes the player on an exciting, unforgettable adventure through Norse mythology by showing off its breathtaking scenery and revealing a thrilling story. Following the death of Kratos’ wife, Faye, this single-player action-packed experience tells the tale of Kratos, a former Greek god, and his son, Atreus, traversing through realms to fulfill Faye’s dying wish. The duo embarks on a journey to scatter her ashes atop the tallest peak in all the nine realms. Along the way, the two travelers will encounter countless compelling foes and meet numerous gracious companions wishing to aid Kratos on his journey. As the story advances, Kratos attempts to conceal his godly past in hopes of a safer future for his son, while Atreus strives to discover who he is supposed to be.
The surreal story allows the player to understand the character’s excitement, hope, and sorrow throughout and never ceases to astound the player. The game has a unique fighting style and skill tree in which you can learn and use numerous attack combinations against your enemies. Discovering new skills builds an exciting feeling that drives the player to explore the captivating world to uncover hidden weapons and upgrades. God of War’s combat pushes you to memorize enemy attack patterns and strategize multiple ways to defeat them. The brawls in God of War challenge the player; however, it still manages to supply a thrilling experience that players worldwide enjoy. God of Warunderstandably won numerous awards, including the Game Award for Game of the Year. It is no surprise that this adventure receives positive reviews everywhere you look.
God of War is a fantastic game that drowns the player with emotions with its magnificent story and scenery. I frequently return to God of Warto re-experience the story and to acquire the satisfying sensation of battling my way to victory. I must urge every video game enthusiast to experience the sheer thrill that this splendid game provides.
